2016 NBA Playoff Predictions: Conference Finals

Western Conference

(1) Golden State Warriors v (3) Oklahoma City Thunder

Pick:  Warriors in 6
Why: People were disappointed we didn't get Spurs-Warriors but I think the Thunder are a tougher matchup for the Dubs.  They went 3-0 vs OKC but all were close, they went 3-1 against the Spurs and the game they lost they struggled shooting, otherwise they pretty much handled San Antonio.  The Thunder bigs dominated the Warriors on the glass this season, Kevin Durant had his way as well.  The Thunder struggled to close out games all season, though they did a good job (albeit with some help from the refs) against San Antonio, the Warriors are a MUCH more dynamic team offensively than the Spurs.  Plus they have the best player in the league on their team and they're just the better team.  I expect all the games to be competitive but I think the Warriors will wrap it up in OKC game

Eastern Conference

(1) Cleveland Cavaliers v (2) Toronto Raptors

Pick: Cavs in 6
Why: Cleveland has played their best basketball all year in the first two rounds and have walked past a Detroit team that matched up well but was no where near as talented.  Then they played the Hawks who are solid but match up horribly with Cleveland.  Now they get Toronto who went 2-1 against them and won one fewer game than they did all year.  Toronto though has struggled their way to their first ever East Final.  If they can somehow figure it out and play like they did in the regular season it wouldn't surprise me at all if they won the series, but based on what I've seen lasting 6 games seems like a best case scenario.  So I really really want the Raptors to find themselves here and at least push the Cavs but the series'll likely be done before six and we'll all have to watch LeBron rub his dick over Toronto for a week and it'll suck.
