Phil Jackson Wants To Run The Knicks Further Into The Ground And Melo Wants To Help

So this one's going to be a two parter, and we'll start off with the Phil Jackson part.  Apparently Phillip wants to keep Kurt Rambis as head coach going forward (http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york-knicks/post/_/id/64300/kurt-rambis-dilemma-play-the-young-guys-or-try-to-win-games).  Yeah.  These guys are the worst.  First off, owner James Dolan is a loser, which always should be said.  Worst owner in sports.  Phil was looking pretty smart with how the Porzingis pick worked out, though he's back to being a stubborn dumbass.  Kurt Rambis is one of the worst coaches in Minnesota Timberwolves history.  The Wolves have very little good history, they've been very bad for most of their existence.  I don't care if he knows the triangle, the triangle is outdated and it only worked when it was being run through Jordan and Kobe.  Newsflash, any offense will be successful if they're ran through MJ and Kobe (in their primes) and had the supporting cast they did.  Notice how it never worked for anyone else who tried it?  Or how it's failing miserably now?  You want to know how to play basketball?  Look at what Golden State, or San Antonio does.  Spread the floor, move the ball, make good cuts, make the extra pass, and make open shots.  You can play fast like Golden State, or slower like the Spurs.  But you are never, EVER, going to win a title running the triangle through Carmelo Anthony.  You'll probably never make the playoffs doing that.  The triangle sucks, Kurt Rambis sucks, Phil Jackson sucks, and Melo sucks.  This whole team just sucks and they keep spinning their wheels and never going forward.  I could build a better basketball team than Phil.  Here's how:

Step 1: Get a real coach, like Mark Jackson, Luke Walton, or literally anyone not named Kurt Rambis.

Step 2: Trade some of the useless vets for draft picks if at all possible.  Jose Calderon, Sasha Vujacic, Lou Amendson, and even Arron Afflalo should be moved for picks.

Step 3: Rid New York of Carmelo Anthony.  You could get a top 10 pick.  But he has a no-trade clause, where would he let you trade him you ask?  Sacramento.  Give him to Boogie and Rondo (who he wants in NY, but I'll get to that) and hopefully he'd agree.  That'd be a fun team out in Sac-town, and the Knicks could probably get some decent young pieces and picks in return.  Only problem is Sacramento is a small city, don't know if Melo would go for it.

Step 4: Carry out a legitimate rebuild and stop plugging in not very talented pieces.  The Melo experiment should be over, he's not leading us anywhere so let's just stop.  You can't let the vaunted New York media bully you into trying to speed up the process of actually building a team.  In the end a perennial contender is much better than perpetual mediocrity.

There.

Now, my team's fearless leader, Carmelo Anthony, has said he wants to help recruit free agents! (http://www.newsday.com/sports/basketball/knicks/with-eye-on-rajon-rondo-carmelo-anthony-wants-to-hit-recruiting-trail-1.11547191)  And who does he want to start with?  RAJON RONDO!!!  Oh shit, wait.  Rondo sucks.  He's been kinda better this year, but still there's an important part of the game of basketball that involves putting the ball in the hoop and Rondo can't do that.  He can pass, and is an overrated defender.  He's a decent defender, but he's not being carried by KG, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen like in Boston.  And he looks to pass and only pass, again he can't score.  Rondo was at his best surrounded by future hall of famers!  He was garbage after the band broke up in Boston, was garbage in Dallas last year, and he's slightly better because he's playing with the best center in the league.  Rondo is definitely NOT the answer.  He's a complete baby when things go south, and I just don't know who would want him on their team.  I don't want to walk into the locker room to see Rondo playing connect-4 and bricking j's on the court.

How's Melo going to recruit anyway?  "Come play with me!"  Um, no thanks, this team had one good year with you.  "There's so much to do in New York!"  Really?  Like play for a winning basketball team?  No?  I'll pass then.  "Our strip clubs are better!"  That might work, but if they're going to strip clubs so much that it factors into their free agency decision then I don't want them in New York.  Seriously, someone needs to do something and stop this dumpster fire.  Give me a few billion dollars so I can buy this team from Dolan and make them a legitimate team again.  Thank God Steph ended up being as good as he was so I have a good team to watch instead of only this train wreck.
