I actually am not going to rip Cleveland for being whiney pussies for this Manziel boycott. I avoided talking about the latest Manziel incident because every time I try and support him he does something stupid. Lately that was another domestic dispute with his girlfriend. But I actually think this is good for both parties, Johnny and Browns fans. Pretend you're a Browns fan for a minute. Your team never wins more than 6 games, you drive every coach and quarterback out of the city and NFL before they get a chance to succeed because the front office is run by vegetables. You draft the most electrifying player college football has ever seen, despite concerns over his partying ways, and then he finally gets a chance and does ok in 2015 and still gets in trouble causing you to cry and cry and cry about him. Awful right? Can I remind everyone that he didn't suck when he played this year? Was he great? Not even close, but he made significant strides and played well when he had no receivers and no offensive line. His running backs though? Sub-par. I think if people stop blowing up over everything Johnny does it'll help him. He went to rehab last offseason, obviously it didn't end up helping much, but let's not forget he's 23. That's no excuse at all, but let's not give up on him yet. He obviously has a ton of shit he's got to work through, and I'll bet alcohol is his solution. Just blackout and forget his problems. So maybe if people stop hounding him, that'll drive him to drink less. It's just a theory, I don't personally know the guy. I just need him to get good so I can rub it in everyone's faces who always hated him/gave up on him recently.
