Well, Oklahoma was number one for all of about 9 hours? Obviously they'll stay number one until next Monday, but they were named number one in the polls this afternoon and lost in Iowa State. So they now join North Carolina, Michigan State, Kansas, and Kentucky as number one teams to lose. If you paid attention to college hoops at all you know that everyone keeps saying there isn't a huge talent gap between the top and everyone else. So assuming Carolina wins their games this week (they play Wake Forest Wednesday and Virginia Tech Sunday) they'll take back the top spot, and they are quietly rolling. Since losing to Texas on a buzzer beater in Texas, they have won 9 in a row 8 of those 9 by double digits. At full strength I believe they'll win the title this year, I think they're underrated, they haven't really blown any ACC team out, but they're playing really well and in my mind they're the best team in the country. Still this years tourney is going to be WILD. If college basketball isn't your thing, I suggest you start watching it because once football is done, nothing else besides NBA and NHL is on anyway, and you may feel better about picking your bracket. Oh and this season so far has been crazy and really fun. Just remember though, (barring major injury of course) North Carolina will win the title this year.
