Steph Curry And His Damn Shin Injury
Now I'm sure you're all aware of this, because my man Steph has become the new face of the NBA and the media talks about him and the Warriors constantly. Now as a guy who's followed Steph and pulled hard for Steph, for what will be 8 years this March now, I'm honestly not worried. He keeps playing through it and yeah he keeps re-aggravating it, but the thing is he can keep playing with it and it should be back to normal in a month, 4 weeks is what the timeline going around is. When he plays he seems to be same ol' Steph for the most part, and I like that he's playing with it. He's not taking two weeks off to get shot up by scum of the Earth Anthony Bosch (the biogenesis guy) due to a non-injury (SEE: James, LeBron). Nope, Steph is saying that it's something that he can play through and it'll still get better, basically he's just doing his job. And yeah, it's basketball and he loves it and his team is awesome (but not so much without him). But fans come out to Warrior games across the country to see that man, I follow the Warriors because of him, without him all I would have is the Knicks and that would be awful. He's not sitting out even though he easily could and nobody would blame him, I mean a lower leg issue may not be as serious as say, a sore throat (looking at you D'Angelo) but I like the move, it proves he's not a soft jump shooter and he just has so much heart. Also this is nothing like when his ankle problems back in 2012/13, so for people who still would say he's injury prone, he hasn't had a serious ankle problem since he tweaked it the 2013 playoffs (which he played through then) and you're just dumb if you actually think that anymore. As of right now it's looking like he will play Friday night (tonight depending on where you are as you read this) against Portland. Should be a good game, I'll be watching it and I hope there's not a moment where he bangs his shin and hobbles around for a bit and everyone loses their minds again.
